Wild Dunes Golf Links -Links, is a Resort, 18 hole golf course located in Isle Of Palms, South Carolina.
The Wild Dunes Resort facility has two 18 hole golf courses, The Harbor Course and The Links Course.
The Links Course at Wild Dunes Resort first opened for play in 1980. The course was designed by Tom Fazio.
The Links Course lives up to its name. Massive dunes and oceanside finishing holes recall the game's Scottish birthplace. #18 is a 185-yard par-3 with a spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean. However, old-timers and regulars of the Links Course regret the loss of the original Tom Fazio hole, a dogleg par 5 destroyed by coastal erosion. (see video)
Par is 70, 6,396 yards, 71.7 course rating, 127 slope.
Practice facilities are located across from The Links clubhouse and include a driving range, chipping area and putting green.

Day 58 - 100 days, 100 courses (Friday, May10, 2019)
Who knew that South Carolina was going to be the international leg of my tour. Yesterday, I played with three Canadians, today it was two Swedes.
Trivia time. Did you know that in Sweden you need a “green card” to play golf? There is a written test and then an on-course test. I am not sure that I could pass either part. On top of that, it costs about $150.
I had a wonderful playing partner but I am sad that his wife could only ride in the cart (she had broken her ankle). They have been here working for about 3 years.
Wild Dunes had many beautiful holes any one of which could be the signature hole.
To prevent wear and tear on my body, I don't warm up and always say that my warm-up is on the course. My round today proved it. It was crazy. I shot a 49 on the front with 3 lost balls and a 36 on the back. What’s up with that?
